21 Tres Condados

58% Grenache Blanc, 42% Viognier
Three County White – Cochise, Mohave and Yavapai. The Viognier for this delicious Arizona blend came from two vineyards: Keeling-Schaefer Vineyard on the western flank of the Chiricahua Mountains in the Willcox AVA, and the Yavapai College Vineyard on the eastern slopes of the Mingus Mountain Range in the Verde Valley AVA. The new player at the table is the Grenache Blanc from Long Mountain Vineyard located on the sloping plains leading up to the Cerbat Mountains, northwest of Kingman. In this new blend, Grenache Blanc undoubtedly plays a leading role bringing fresh yellow grapefruit, lemon, lime and honeydew melon. The Viognier lends richness to the palate and an unmistaken perfume to the nose. Enjoy this wine with a year-or-two of cellar age on it and don’t serve it too cold!
