100% Cabernet Sauvignon

The unique, slate based soils of Coronado Vineyard grabbed, and have held, my attention since the first time I walked down its rows.  Likely the last year we will be bottling this special wine (the vineyard sold and we are no longer able to pick the fruit), we can only accept that so many of the great things in life are fleeting.  This chiseled, well-defined, pure varietal wine is a very precise expression of the great Cabernet Sauvignon grape.  With tart black currants, black cherry, cedar, dark green herbs and hints of anise and green peppercorn, this beautiful and ageable wine is a great addition to any collection and should reward proper cellaring for up to ten years.
