Colibri Vineyards, located in the east-west running Whitetail canyon in the Chiricahua Mountains, is as stunning as its wines are interesting. Remote and beautiful, Colibri sits in a wild and ancient volcanic landscape. Its lean, granitic soils and the relatively cool climate (the vineyard sits at 5200’) produce wines that are well structured and have a marked peppery-spice to them.  In addition to the strong red raspberry and cherry flavors, the Hill Block brings a distinctive herbal quality to the Colibri Grenache lineup as well as a delicious orange-gingerbread spice.
