23 Cochise County Marsanne

Our 2023 Cochise County Marsanne marks an exciting turn in our journey at Colibri Vineyard. Grafted in 2019 from Viognier to Marsanne—Roussanne’s ancestral counterpart—this small block sits in one of the vineyard’s coolest pockets, lending bright acidity and freshness to the wine. Fermented in neutral French oak and aged with a touch of new Hungarian oak, this vintage offers layered aromas of ripe Asian pear, baked apple, hawthorn blossom, and subtle spice. The palate reveals rich orchard fruit, stony minerality, and a lingering, spice-kissed finish. With just 76 cases produced, it’s a beautiful wine to enjoy now—or cellar to uncover the complex, nutty character Marsanne reveals with time.
