61% Roussanne, 29% Marssanne

This interesting blend of Roussanne from Yavapai County and Marsanne from Cochise County was the inspiration of our winemaker Corey Turnbull. As we plant more Rhone-Style white grapes (we now have Roussanne, Marsanne, Picpoul Blanc, Grenache Blanc and Clairette Blanche) we continuously talk creatively about what our future white, Rhone style blends will look like. Some of these blocks are still young and won’t yield fruit for a few more years (Clairette Blanche & Picpoul), others are just coming online (Grenache Blanc and Marsanne), and then we have our historic anchor (Roussanne). Additionally, we accent this lineup with Viognier that we purchase from vineyards around the state. Keep an eye out for a lot of creativity in this area along with associated deliciousness!
