100% Petite Verdot

The small block of grapes sits at the highest point in our famed Colibri Vineyard. Each year we look for weight, spice, color and depth of fruit in this wine and I can easily say that 2019 is the most stunning example of Colibri Petite Verdot to date.  Slightly riper than the past and richer in body, this age-able wine should reward proper cellaring for several years.  Gobs of mulberry, black cherry and black current define this wine and are topped with ample pepper spice and herbs de Provence.  We’ll be fighting over these scant cases here at the winery amongst employees and will make sure it makes it out to you! ;)
