100% Petite Sirah

This small block of just 242 vines has been my baby for years.  Grown from cuttings from our Home Vineyard (which has since been pulled but lives on at Colibri!), these young vines have created an amazingly rich, complex, balanced wine.  Petite Sirah often suffers from being overly rich, dark and tannic and can be a bit of a one-trick pony.  This is not the case here.  With just one barrel made, this dark, complex, spicy wine redefines Petite in a way that only Colibri could.  The mix of red and purple fruit is beguiling and the earth, spice and stone all mingle here and will unfold as this wine opens in your glass.
