PSC Barrel Aged Coffee
In collaboration with Mark Bernhardt, owner, and operator of Sedona Coffee Roasters, we have created Arizona’s first barrel cured coffee! We supplied Mark with a barrel that had previously been the home for one of our Estate Syrahs. He then took beans sourced from the high mountains of Nicaragua and tumbled them, while green, in this cask for 60 days. The curing period mellowed the beans and imparted a subtle, oaky, red wine character. Medium toasting worked its magic and we now present them to you! This rare offering produces a complex and incredibly smooth cup of coffee that is truly special. Share it with friends …but, by all means, …save some for yourself!
