100% Grenache Blanc

Anyone who has visited the Page Springs Tasting Room in the past few years has certainly glanced to the West out at our beautiful Dos Padres vineyard on the other side of the Creek. Many have said that the high position and visibility of this vineyard truly transformed our valley into an indisputable wine region. Its mixed volcanic and limestone soils and elevated position above the cold air drainage along the watershed make it a superb growing site. Grenache Blanc is a mutation of the classic (red) Grenache and luckily emerges a bit later and is thus less susceptible to frost. The nose on this wine is blessed with a profusion of white flower blossoms, tropical fruits, spun sugar and has a fresh palate showing green pineapple, star fruit and lime rind on the finish. Our first bottling! Pretty neat stuff!
