99% Syrah, 1% Petite Sirah

PSC has been dedicated to crafting delicious Rhone-style reds from our inception. Dos Padres Vineyard was planted with this in mind. Compared to our Estate vineyard, this site is higher in elevation and avoids the cold air drainage that threatens the valley with Spring frost. With more airflow and higher temps, this site gives us incredibly deep and powerful reds.  The structure of this wine was so massive that we decided to age it significantly longer to help it mellow before release.  Lovers of classic Syrah will be amazed at this Northern Arizona offering, full of blackberries, espresso, anise, tobacco and site-driven earth tones. This is endowed with tannin and acidity and will most certainly reward several years of cellaring.
